In order to celebrate the 50th dies natalis of the Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang, ITN Malang held various kinds of events. One of them is Fun Run and Fun Walk which was held on Sunday (6/1). The event was attended by the ITN big family, national foundations, and the public.
The first to be held was Fun Run. High school athletes and senior high school students participated in the Fun Run. Dyah Ayu Hanifah won third place in the Female Standart category, while Muharani won second place in the same category. Both of them are students of X IPS 3. ITN Chancellor revealed that the champions were ITN runner candidates.
After Fun Run, the event continued with Fun Walk. The event was preceded by remarks by Mr. Sutiaji, Mayor of Malang City, Rector of ITN, and chair of the committee. “Hopefully ITN would be more successful,” said Pak Sutiaji.
In this fun walk, ITN prepares various kinds of prizes and as the main prize is a motorcycle. In addition, there are also other prizes, such as bowls, 5 mountain bikes, 3 children’s bikes, and many other prizes. The Mayor of Malang also contributed a refrigerator as an additional prize. “I will add a prize, I will give a refrigerator,” said the Mayor. When the lottery was held, the SMANAS family managed to get a mountain bike and a refrigerator given by the Mayor. (feb / mtw // bya)
