2019 is a special year for all Indonesian people. In that year, the people of Indonesia will hold a democratic party in choosing a new leader. In accordance with the mandate of UU No. 7 of 2017 as well as the decision of MK No.14 / PUU-XI / 2013, concurrent elections will be held on April 17, 2019.
Because of this, BASKESBANGPOL of Malang City held a seminar to educate about the regulation and stages of the 2019 elections. In the event, SMA Nasional Malang participated in the seminar held at the Savana Hotel on Thursday, February 28, 2019.
The activity was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. HA Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, educating beginner voters to participate in the success of elections and determine attitudes in determining leaders in accordance with their respective choices.
In line with this, the guest speaker Zainudin, ST, M.AP. as chairman of the Malang City KPU expressed his hope that the participants could contribute to the success and socialize about the 2019 election to friends and residents around his home environment.
